The artwork is a demonstration of the customs of ethnic minorities along the south Silk Road, which is also known as the Ancient Tea Horse Road. The artist adopted the technique of symbolic arrangement and extension (commonly seen in frescoes) and used evident contrast of warm and cold colors to present the vivid details of a happy life on this harmonious land.
