Stream / 2012 / installation: silkworm, handmade paper / 80cm×460cm×50cm

The material used in the work is in conformity with the theme of the exhibition. Sericulture is the beginning of the silk industry. The earliest silkworms were put on the paper and brought to the Western Regions by the caravans. The universe is everlasting, a continuous stream of life and also a lingering process of existence. This static work is made of material of vital characteristics, displaying the fluidity of time.
