Ma Shulin
Ma Shulin, born in Shenyang in 1956, graduated from Luxun Academy of Fine Arts in 1982. He served as the Vice President of Luxun Academy of Fine Arts, President of the High School Affiliated to Luxun Academy of Fine Arts and Vice Chairman of Liaoning Artists Association. He held the position of Deputy Director of National Art Museum of China. Deputy Director of Chinese Painting Art Committee of China Artists Association (CAA), member of CAA and professor. He is also a judging panel member of the senior professional titles evaluation process initiated by the Ministry of Culture of China, judging panel member of the 10th and 11th National Exhibition of Fine Arts, member of the Major History-Themed Art Creation Project Committee, member of the Committee of Art Creation Projects on Chinese Civilization and History, researcher of Beijing Institute of Culture and History, and researcher of China National Academy of Painting. Mr. Ma enjoys special allowance granted by the State Council of China.

Wang Hongjian
Born in He’nan Province in 1955, is now a professor and member of the Academic Committee of Academy of Fine Arts of Tsinghua University, deputy director of Oil Painting Art Committee of China Artists Association, honorary professor of Repin Academy of Fine Arts, distinguished professor of Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts, and corresponding academician of Painting Institute of Italian Academy of Art. Wang Duanting
Born in Hubei Province in 1961, graduated from Wuhan University in 1983. As a state-sponsored visiting scholar, he studied in Pantheon-Sorbonne University (1997-1998) and Sapienza University of Rome (2002-2003, 2010, and 2018 respectively) for four times. He is now the director, researcher, and doctoral supervisor of Foreign Art Research Office, Institute of Fine Arts, Chinese National Academy of Arts, distinguished professor of Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts, member of European and American Students Association and Rotating Chairman of the 9th Annual Meeting of Chinese Art Critics in 2015.

Wang Yong

NIU Kecheng
Graduated from the History Department of Peking University in 1983 and from the History Department of the Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in 1987. From 1994 to 1997, he studied Japanese painting techniques and engaged in painting as a foreign visiting researcher of Tokyo University and a distinguished overseas artist (painter) of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan. His paintings were exhibited in the First Beijing International Art Biennale and the 10th, 11th and 13th National Exhibition of Fine Arts. He served as an academic host, judge or curator of the First China Heavy Color Painting Exhibition, the First Chinese Rock Color Painting Exhibition and the fourth to tenth National Gongbi Painting Exhibitions. At present, he is the director of the Institute of Fine Arts and doctoral supervisor of Chinese National Academy of Arts, chief editor of Art Observation, deputy director of the Academic Committee of Chinese National Academy of Arts, member of CPPCC National Committee, member of the Fine Arts Group of the Academic Degree Committee of the State Council, and council member and deputy director of the Theory Committee of China Artists Association.

LU Yushun
Born in 1962, is Standing President of China National Academy of Painting, a Doctoral Supervisor at Chinese National Academy of Arts, and a Council Member of China Artists Association. Dai Daquan
Born in Beijing in 1954, graduated from the Printmaking Department of Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts in 1982, and completed his Master degree in 1989. He was one of the introduced talents of Tsinghua University and the director of the Printmaking Teaching and Research Section of Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts. Now, he is a professor, doctoral supervisor and deputy director of the Painting Department of the Academy of Fine Arts of Tsinghua University, deputy director of the Printmaking Art Committee of China Artists Association, and vice president of the Printmaking Department of China National Academy of Painting.

BAO Lin
Born in 1956, graduated from the Central Academy of Art and Design in 1982 and stayed on as a teacher. In 1986, he went to France for further study with government fund at the Université de Paris I and got the master’s degree and the doctor’s degree. He also studied at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-arts de Paris and Ecole Nationale Superieure des Arts Decoratifs de Paris. In 1955, he went back to the Central Academy of Art and Design to work as an associate professor there and an expert consultant for the People’s Government of Beijing Municipality. From 2000 to 2004, he served as a professor and the director of the Research Institute of the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University. From 2005 to 2008, he worked as a professor and doctoral supervisor and the director of the Department of Painting and the deputy dean of the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University. Since 2009, he has served as a professor and doctoral supervisor of the Department of Painting, Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University.

AN Yuanyuan
Born in Shaanxi Province in 1965, studied in the Art History Department of China Central Academy of Fine Arts from 1984 to 1988. She started to work in the Art Department of the Art Bureau of the Ministry of Culture in July 1988, and served as director of the Literature and Art Department of the Art Bureau of the Ministry of Culture from 2005 to 2014. Now, she is deputy curator of National Art Museum of China, council member of China Artists Association, vice chairman of Beijing Artists Association, and deputy director and secretary general of the Art Museum Committee of China Museum Association. She has long been dedicated to the development and management of art museums and academies, organized and participated in various national-level art exhibitions. what’s more, she has played an active role in organizing important events, including major art creation projects with historic themes, the 7th to the 11th National Art Exhibitions, the 1st China Art Expo, the 1st China Design Exhibition, the 1st to the 3rd China Poetry Festivals, the national art collection and donation awards, and the free opening of art museums. Her articles on contemporary art creation are published on newspapers and magazines.

LIU Xilin
Born in Shandong Province in 1942, entered the Department of Fine Arts History of Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1978 to pursue postgraduate education. Since 1981, he has been engaged in the research of art history theory and the creation of calligraphy and painting in National Art Museum of China, and has served as a researcher, deputy director and director of the Museum’s Research Section. He is a founding executive council member of the Chinese Painting Society, member of the editorial board of Art Magazine, member of the Beijing Museum of Culture and History, deputy director of the Art Theory Professional Committee of China National Academy of Painting, vice president of Jiang Zhaohe Art Research Association of China Artists Association, and former deputy director of the Theory Committee of China Artists Association.

He was the former studio director of the Military Museum and a national first-class artist. Born in 1963, graduated from the major of Japanese at Foreign Languages Department of Sichuan University.
